What are the responsibilities and job description for the JHSCS Patient Services Coordinator position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
- Under general supervision, performs a variety of clerical duties in the Operating Room
- Receives and relays information pertinent to patient care, ensures cleanliness of O.R. desk and hallway area, completes OR posting form and communicates this information with appropriate personnel, and maintains par levels of clerical supplies
- Work requires knowledge of procedures and policies adhered to in the O.R., along with the ability to coordinate scheduling information of the O.R. as acquired during 1-3 months of related experience
Work Location: Columbia, MD at Howard County Medical Center
Full time Days (Monday-Friday)
6am-2:30pm
Minimum Requirements:
Education/ Work Experience:
- High school diploma or educational equivalent
- Epic or electronic health records experience preferred
- Six months of experience in reception type activities is required
Salary Range: Minimum 18.31 per visit - Maximum 30.24 per visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
