What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrition Clerk position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
Position Summary:
As a Nutrition Clerk, you will:
- Obtain meal orders from patients using customer, telephone and computer skills.
- Coordinates patient diet information with tray line, diet office, dietitians.
- Coordinates supply orders for hospital departments.
Shift:
PRN- Casual/OnCall (Based on the Need of the Dept)
Rotating Shift
Weekend Work Required
Location: Howard County Medical Center

Education/ Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent combination of training experience.
- One-year clerical experience or an equivalent combination of post high school education and experience.
- Food service experience preferred.
Salary Range: Minimum 16.45 per hour - Maximum 19.01 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
