Reporting to the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine PH US President, the Vice President US Medical will have responsibility for medical leadership and oversight of medical activities for the US business and will be an enterprise leader serving on the US PH Leadership Team, the board of US Vice Presidents of Medical and Scientific Affairs and working in close collaboration with the global R&D and medical affairs teams.
The role will be accountable for the following :
- Design the overarching strategic and tactical plans necessary to cement and grow Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine's PH portfolio
- Achieve the clinical, scientific and value-oriented differentiation required to compete along the decision-making continuum for key marketed products through company sponsored research and Investigator Initiated Studies and the development of publication / communication strategies
- Lead an organization of 50 team members with a focus on talent, team effectiveness and culture.
Sub departments include : Medical Strategy, Medical Excellence & Impact, Medical Communications, and Field- based Medical Science Liaisons.

Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar / performance year.
