GENERAL SUMMARY
Performs clerical and legal secretarial duties for the District Attorney and Assistant District Attorneys.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
- Performs clerical duties, which includes answering and directing phone calls, maintaining logs, filing, preparing and distributing correspondence, verifying documents, inputting data and maintaining files on computer
- Performs legal secretarial duties, which includes preparing Motions to Revoke and Motions to Adjudicate for the 18th District Court and attend court proceeding for that court.
- Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
- Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, and wear personal protective gear if required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions listed above can be substituted.

- Ability to use office equipment and related software
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of applicable terminology
- Typing skills
- Work independently

- Operate standard office equipment, such as computer keyboards and monitors, copiers, scanners, and telephone

- Compare data from a variety of sources for accuracy and completeness
- Organize large volumes of detailed data and information
