JOB SUMMARY: Oversee and/or participate in all aspects of ministry coordination for the student ministry programs, events, and mission trips.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain a system for program, event and trip planning, execution and debrief.
- Serve as project manager for all events, monitoring and managing event timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Develop and Maintain a communication strategy to connect with both parents and students using the following platforms: JF website, social media, email, phone, etc.
- Counsel and care for parents as they share concerns related to their students attending JF trips, programs, and events. Maintain healthy lines of communication.
- Develop concepts, themes and ideas for Student programs, events, and trips based on the vision of JF Students.
- Manage the logistical elements around our trips and events such as bus reservations, forms, registration, payments, etc.
- Participate in student ministry events and be available to counsel and develop relationships with students and adult leaders.
- Review weekly calendar and take initiative to ensure that ministry needs are met
- Lead a 419 group of students/parents throughout the year.
- Attend and participate in all regular monthly ministry staff meetings, monthly church staff meetings, staff retreats, training, etc.
- Attend weekly Student Ministry programming, Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Seminary experience a plus.
- 2-3 years’ experience working with middle or high school students preferred.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
- Ability to lift up and carry 50 or more pounds.
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Physically able to work inside and outside in various weather conditions.
