Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize costs, service levels, and operational performance.
Analyze transportation data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth transportation operations.
Monitor and report on transportation data, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
Support the development and implementation of transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Under general or minimum supervision, performs duties in terms of stated objectives. Generally works out details within broad guidelines and exercises considerable initiative and judgment.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
Required:
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional work experience
Experience in transportation or logistics, preferably in a shipping or transportation role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Proficiency in transportation management systems and other relevant software.
Experience working in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Six Sigma or Lean certification.
Experience with process improvement initiatives.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including ability to clearly document all work.
Other:
May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites.
Salary : $73,000 - $105,000
