Learn more at https : / / www.jnj.com / .JOB SUMMARYAssemble components, subassemblies and finished electromechanical products using documented procedures and specifications.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESUnder general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws / regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position : Train lower-level assembly personnel. Assist lower-level assembly personnel in diagnosing and resolving technical problems. Assemble and diagnose first time builds and design units with manufacturing engineering guidance. Organized and maintain work orders as they are received from the stockroom. Keep track of the scheduling system and dispense work that are expedites while balancing own workload. Following up on calibration equipment, materials and performing audits as required. Sustain accountability of tooling kits, workstations and keeping track of inventory issues. Assemble and solder components, sub-assemblies, and finished products of moderate complexity as prescribed by drawings and / or procedures. Conduct tests of assembled electromechanical products as prescribed by drawings and / or procedures. Document results of assembly and / or test operations on data sheets and manufacturing records. Diagnose, correct, and verify product originally not meeting specifications. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance. Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer. Performs other related duties as required. QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED and 4 to 6 years related experience in electromechanical assembly. Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and procedures. Ability to provide detailed documentation of work results. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS
- Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and computing rate, ratio, and percent. Familiarity with GD&T practices. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive and results-oriented approach. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
