The Manager, Incentive Compensation is responsible for leading the execution portion of the IC operations and analytics, including monthly and quarterly incentive compensation processing, validation, education and training, data maintenance, and quarterly bonus payments.
Responsibilities:
Is the Subject Matter Specialist resource for Incentive Compensation for the business unit, interacting with all levels within the organization and ensures compliance with various global laws, regulations, Human Resources and Health Care Compliance requirements
Collaborates and works with Incentive Compensation team members, Commercial Operations & Reporting team members, Commercial Optimization & Deployment team members, Data Management team members, the Information Technology (IT) department, as well as outside vendors, to process, validate and distribute SICP reports to the sales force on a regular, timely basis and coordinates payments with Human Resources, Finance, and Payroll departments
Provides weekly/monthly/quarterly accuracy of SICP reporting and payouts through a comprehensive set of QC checks
Partners closely with Associate Director Incentive Compensation, Commercial Operations & Reporting, Commercial Optimization & Deployment, Data Management, Commercial Insights & Strategy, Vendors and Information Technology personnel to identify processes, implement projects, and communicate plans and timelines across the organization
Conducts monthly IC processing validations to ensure accuracy of data, appropriate incentives, attainable goals, and to supervise performance against established plans
Responsible for sales contest processing, sales data modeling, management of all field inquiries, recognition program administration and participating in department projects throughout the year as needed
Oversee the design, development, communication, and maintenance of all processes and policies for sales incentive programs (i.e., cash bonus, reward points, other recognition programs) to ensure effective utilization and regulatory compliance
Continuously looks for ways to increase sales operations efficiency
Supports co-promotions and multiple selling models
Works with Commercial Excellence, Sales & Marketing leadership on cyclical IC design changes and call plan changes
Distributes incentive compensation reports to the sales force
Supports Incentive Compensation related investigations
Works closely with the @ Your Service platform (AYS Team)
Manage and maintain relationships with external compensation consultants
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum of five (5) years business or related experience is required
Previous pharmaceutical / healthcare sales experience is preferred
Previous experience in incentive compensation is preferred
Previous people management experience is preferred
Knowledge of pharmaceutical secondary data sources is preferred
Previous experience with healthcare commercial landscape is preferred
This position will be located in Horsham, PA and may require up to 20% domestic travel
