The JJSC Culture and Capability Development (C&CD) team acts as a bold, globally inclusive, and connected organization with a singular mission of enabling the Bold HOW for SC. As we continue to ignite the power of our SC as a strategic advantage, C&CD plays a key role in driving culture and development aligned with a foundation of the Vital Behaviors. The Leadership Development Pillar in the C&CD team is focused on accelerating talent faster, through a coordinated pathway of supply chain leadership programs and experiences, building a robust pool of JJSC Leaders. The nominated programs support the development of talent through GOLD, STAR, CompassEQLD, and LE2ED. All programs are connected and focused, supporting fast track progression from Band 24-50.
Reporting to the Sr Manager JJSC Leadership Development, the Manager is responsible for the execution of the STAR and LE2ED Programs. This is a critical role on the team responsible for delivering agile experiential development learning for internal employees at the Manager and Director levels.
- Shape, build, deploy, and execute the STAR and LE2ED regional leadership programs as global point of contact and owner.
- Design and develop curriculum in close partnership with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Build relationships and cultivate partnerships with business and vendors to provide a best-in-class experience and curriculum for program participants.
- Partner with HR and other business leaders to deliver a robust and inclusive participant nomination, selection, and onboarding strategy.
- Evaluate educational effectiveness and drive educational-continuous improvements.
- Champion and support Our Vital Behaviors, ensuring program continues to align with culture initiatives.
- Support live virtual and on-site face-to-face development.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or Education is required.
- A Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Certifications in adult learning highly preferred.
- Training Within Industry knowledge or certification is preferred.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Supply Chain required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and delivering adult training curriculums preferred.
- Understanding of Supply Chain process and skills is required.
- Knowledge and experience with adult learning is preferred.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization is required.
- Ability to translate innovation vision into an assessment and understanding of skill gaps is required.
- Project Management skills highly preferred.
Other
- This position can sit at any J&J site in the United States.
- This position may require up to 30% travel.
Work location is flexible if approved by the Company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.
