Johnson Law Group is a fast paced, plaintiffs’ law firm, seeking an Attorney to join our legal team in Cleveland, Ohio.

Responsibilities:
- Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
- Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
- Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
- Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
- Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information
- Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate
- Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
- Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system
- Manage a team including paralegals and legal assistants
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and Ohio state bar membership required
- Candidate must have at least one (1) year of experience, preferably with handling personal injury cases

- Strong client-facing experience in any field; ability to communicate clearly with our clients is a must
- Case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple clients, projects and deadlines
- Preferential consideration for deposition, hearing and mediation experience
- Superior organization skills with great follow through
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Pacer experience and Excel skills are helpful
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
