Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee estimation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior estimators or interns.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure comprehensive project estimations.
Measurable Goals:
- Deliver accurate and competitive cost estimates within deadlines.
- Efficiently manage and respond to RFIs.
- Ensure smooth transition of bid information to the PM team.
- Uphold high standards in organizational and estimation processes.
Responsible Duties:
- Gather and analyze information from architects, engineers, and clients for precise estimations.
- Review project documents thoroughly and conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Analyze market trends and historical data for accurate cost assessments.
- Develop and present organized bid proposals, including cost breakdowns and project timelines.
- Actively participate in pre-bid meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Fulcrum ERP, and estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore).
- In-depth understanding of construction contracts, bidding processes, and change order pricing.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Preferably a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
