Roto-Rooter Water Cleanup of Delmarva is looking for an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator and Selections Coordinator to support their mature and growing company. Please do not apply if you do not have the required specified experience. Applications will not be considered.
As an Insurance Restoration Estimator, you will be responsible for writing residential estimates using Xactimate Software. The individual must be self-motivated with high energy and the ability to interact with numerous individuals, in an ever-changing environment. You will lead the estimating process for reconstruction / mold / water bids and proposals while working with a team of project coordinators and managers to complete estimates in a timely and accurate manner. Timeliness and efficiency are key qualities in the ideal candidate.
As a Selections Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for clients as they choose finishes, fixtures, and materials for their projects. You’ll guide clients through the selection process, assist with design recommendations, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Insurance Restoration Estimator
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
- Survey job sites to provide field dimensions, work with client, or perform other activities as required.
- Determine production factors influencing service and material costs and schedule.
- Prepare material and labor estimates for project, taking into account all insurance considerations when applicable.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and adjusters, ensuring estimates fall within defined scope.
- Prepare change orders and upgrades for project.
Position Requirements
- 3 years Residential Construction industry experience is required. Must have ability to read and interpret protocols and contract documents.
- Experience in insurance claim estimation
- Effective written and oral communication
- Experience writing estimates using Xactimate Software
- Xactimate Level One certification is preferred.
- ServiceTitan experience preferred.
- Experience writing estimate using time and materials methodology
- Ability to read, analyze and write estimates, proposals, reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with subcontractors, clients and all employees of the organization.
- Presentation skills; ability to sell and represent the company in the best possible light to clients and internal recon teams.
- Work effectively with others as a team member (listen, take direction).
- Demonstrate effective leadership in coordination of group work efforts. Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate drive and initiative in performance of duties; meet deadlines and honor commitments made to others.

Selections Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their design preferences and guide them through the selection of materials, finishes, fixtures, and colors.
- Coordinate with the design and construction teams to ensure selections are within project scope and budget.
- Provide status updates to clients and handle any adjustments or changes to selections as needed.
- Keep organized records of selections, orders, and client communications.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under tight deadlines.
Compensation
- $55,000-62,000 based on experience.
