Our construction company is seeking an experienced construction professional with excellent leadership skills. If you're good at managing general contractors, hiring subcontractors, and maintaining safety and compliance at a construction site, then you might be perfect as our next construction superintendent. Our ideal candidate has 5 years of construction field experience who can supervise all site activities and maintain safety compliance at all times.Compensation:
$90,000 base salary production bonuses
Responsibilities:- Review subcontractor output concerning schedules and success targets to ensure that the project is on track to be completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards required
- Address the project's costs with clients to ensure that it remains within budget
- Reduce accidents and delays on construction sites by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting any problems to the project manager as soon as they arise
- Ensure that each construction project produces a high-quality finished product, manage construction workers, conduct routine on-site inspections, and provide guidance as needed
- Generate & submit project schedules, notifying the workforce in a timely manner
- Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to our company standard
- Walk sites to ensure project code compliance & quality control
- Manage job-site cleanliness, & vendor deliveries
- Accurate communication of milestone completion with management
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
- Excellent leadership, time-management, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
- You will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Completed training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
- 5 years of prior experience as a Project Manager is required for this position; additional management experience preferred
- Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills
- A thorough knowledge of the Construction Schedule Sequence with previous experience using job site CRM software & Microsoft Office
