Homebuilding Project Manager

Our construction company is seeking an experienced construction professional with excellent leadership skills. If you're good at managing general contractors, hiring subcontractors, and maintaining safety and compliance at a construction site, then you might be perfect as our next construction superintendent. Our ideal candidate has 5 years of construction field experience who can supervise all site activities and maintain safety compliance at all times.Compensation:

$90,000 base salary production bonuses

Responsibilities:

• Review subcontractor output concerning schedules and success targets to ensure that the project is on track to be completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards required
• Address the project's costs with clients to ensure that it remains within budget
• Reduce accidents and delays on construction sites by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting any problems to the project manager as soon as they arise
• Ensure that each construction project produces a high-quality finished product, manage construction workers, conduct routine on-site inspections, and provide guidance as needed

• Generate & submit project schedules, notifying the workforce in a timely manner
• Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to our company standard
• Walk sites to ensure project code compliance & quality control
• Manage job-site cleanliness, & vendor deliveries
• Accurate communication of milestone completion with management

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
• Excellent leadership, time-management, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
• You will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Completed training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site

• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
• 5 years of prior experience as a Project Manager is required for this position; additional management experience preferred
• Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills
• A thorough knowledge of the Construction Schedule Sequence with previous experience using job site CRM software & Microsoft Office
