Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours
Monday: 8am - 5pm
Tuesday: 8am - 5pm
Wednesday: 8am - 5pm
Thursday: 8am - 5pm
Friday: 8am - 4pm
Saturday/Sunday: Closed

Job Summary:

Our growing dental practice is searching for a dedicated Front Desk Coordinator to join our team! We are a small, dentist-owned, patient-focused dental office practicing modern dentistry using the latest clinical technology. We are a team of passionate professionals that support each other, have fun together and take care of our patients. The ideal candidate is a team player, enthusiastic, energetic and has a desire to grow and learn. We are looking for someone who is personable and can provide a positive Check In/Out experience for our patients, as well maintaining the day-to-day operations within the office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Manage day-to-day operations of dental office

· Check patients in/out according to protocol

· Open and close dental office according to office protocol

· Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism

· Confirm appointments according to protocol and patient preferences

· Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time

· Review the office for a neat, professional appearance and make necessary changes

· Check the daily schedule for accuracy

· Update patient insurance information

· General office duties

Qualifications and Skills:

· 2 years’ experience as Front Desk Receptionist

· Experience working in a dental office is preferred

· Knowledge of the dental industry and working with patient insurance

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules

· Excellent computer skills

· Experience in customer service
