We are looking for rockstars to join our team for the 2025 season.
Are you looking for a bartending role that’s more than just making drinks? At The Sea Lion Dockside Bar, you'll do it all—craft incredible cocktails and coffee drinks, engage with every guest who walks through the door, and sell retail products in addition to running the bar. This isn’t your average bartending gig—it’s a high-energy, multi-faceted role in a one-of-a-kind setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage with every guest. We expect you to interact, welcome, and create memorable experiences.
- Make top-notch cocktails and coffee drinks. You’ll work with premium spirits and Surf Town Coffee beans to deliver quality beverages.
- Sell retail products. Whether it’s specialty coffee, bar merchandise, or unique gifts, you’ll help drive sales.
- Operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a hybrid role—part bartender, part barista, part sales associate, and full-time customer engagement expert.
- Keep things clean, stocked, and organized. A smooth-running bar and coffee station are essential to our success.
What We’re Looking For:
- A people person. If you don’t love interacting with guests, this isn’t the job for you.
- Passion for drink crafting. Cocktails, espresso, and everything in between—you’ll be trained, but experience is a plus!
- A team player with hustle. You’ll be working across multiple service areas in a fast-moving setting.
- Experience in bartending and/or barista work preferred. But if you’re quick to learn and have the right energy, we want to meet you!
- Must have an OLCC Server’s Permit and a Food Handler’s Card.
Pay & Perks:
Base pay: $15 per hour
With tips, most team members average $17 - $19 per hour
