Quailty Control Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control Leadership:
  • Direct and manage the quality control department, including hiring, training, and supervising QC specialists and support staff. 
  • Develop, implement, and enforce quality control policies and procedures. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. 
  • Maintain and improve quality control systems and processes. 
  • Lead investigations into quality issues and implement corrective actions. 
• Product Quality Assurance:
  • Oversee testing and inspection processes to ensure products meet quality standards. 
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures and specifications. 
  • Monitor and analyze product quality data and performance metrics. 
  • Investigate customer complaints and provide feedback. 
  • Work with other departments to identify and resolve quality issues. 
• Team Management and Development:
  • Train and mentor QC staff of 4-6 individuals on quality control procedures and best practices. 
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on quality-related matters. 
  • Motivate and lead the QC team to achieve quality goals. 

• Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of quality control activities. 
  • Generate reports on product quality metrics and performance. 
  • Lead all regulatory, internal management, and board QC reporting. 

Qualifications:

• Education:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Control). 

• Experience:

5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a paint or sealant manufacturing environment. 

• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and best practices.
  • Add statistical analysis to our current program. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Define quality control software and data analysis tools to be purchased. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. 
• Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with the adhesive industry and Tower Sealants products is a plus.

• Salary: $60,000 and 10% Annual Bonus based on individual & company performance
