As the Center Medical Director, you will provide medical leadership and ensure regulatory compliance, training Physician Substitutes, and supporting operations. As the Laboratory Director and Clinical Consultant, you will be the key medical and laboratory expert for both the Donor Center and the Company.

What You'll Do
As the Center Medical Director, you will provide medical leadership and ensure regulatory compliance, training Physician Substitutes, and supporting operations. As the Laboratory Director and Clinical Consultant, you will be the key medical and laboratory expert for both the Donor Center and the Company.
- Lead and manage medical and laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
- Serve as the primary contact for health departments and regulatory agencies, ensuring all procedures meet CLIA regulations.
- Monitor donor safety, suitability, and product quality, providing insights to improve operations.
- Train medical staff and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Offer support and guidance during challenging donor reactions.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability in laboratory testing, regularly reviewing quality assurance reports.
- Maintain a safe and supportive lab environment, meeting physical and environmental standards.
- Oversee donor counseling, testing, and follow-up care with a focus on safety and well-being.
- Provide constructive feedback to Center Operations Management and Quality Assurance to improve processes.
- Contribute expertise in senior leadership meetings to help guide the Center’s success
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including 21 CFR 630.3(i) and 21 CFR 630.5, safeguarding both donors and staff.
- You should be a Doctor of Medicine, Osteopathy, or Podiatric Medicine with the appropriate state licenses.
- Certification in anatomic or clinical pathology is ideal, though equivalent qualifications will be considered.
- At least one year directing or supervising laboratory testing, with a focus on quality and safety or 20 continuing medical education credits or equivalent laboratory training.
- A valid state-issued medical license in good standing is required.
- Board certifications as applicable.
