Joink, LLC was founded as an Internet Service Provider, providing dial-up, DSL and fixed wireless broadband Internet services. Today, the company provides connectivity for customers who span the landscape from residential to enterprise using technologies that include leased lines, unlicensed wireless, licensed wireless, and fiber optics. Also, the company provides managed hosting services including virtual machine, web/email, and offsite backup storage. And finally, the Company’s technology services group leverages its enterprise knowledge of networking, software, storage, and telephony technologies to provide design, installation, and continued supported around key technologies from companies such as VMware, Cisco UCS, IBM, Veeam and Microsoft.
Position Summary
This representative will assume responsibility for overseeing the collection and input of data to assist in the organization’s compliance with laws and regulations, including the timely preparation of FCC, tax filings, and non-financial audits.

Position Summary
This representative will assume responsibility for overseeing the collection and input of data to assist in the organization’s compliance with laws and regulations, including the timely preparation of FCC, tax filings, and non-financial audits.
REPORTS TO
- Chief Financial Officer

- Research legal articles, regulations and laws related to compliance items.
- Assist in designing or updating internal policies to mitigate compliance risks.
- Regularly report to management regarding the status of compliance reporting.
- Stay up to date on changes in laws and regulations relating to compliance.
- Investigate and make recommendations to overcome noncompliance situations.
- Work with internal teams to ensure appropriate guidelines are in place for possible noncompliance situations.
- Conduct regular audits to identify compliance risks and weaknesses.
- Assist in the development and delivery of employee training related to compliance as needed.
- Prepare FFC and tax filings.
- Adept in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain a very high level of detail orientation and accuracy.
- Ability to evaluate situations and adjust to changing priorities.
- Strong understanding of compliance-related processes.
- 40 hours per week
- Office environment
- Must be able to work overtime with and without notice.
- Occasional travel for training and professional development
- Candidates may work remotely but must be willing to travel to a Joink office periodically. Office locations: Terre Haute, IN (headquarters) and Taylorville, IL.
- 10 years’ experience in financial analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics
- 3 years’ related experience
- Candidates which have the following will have priority:
- Experience with FCC and tax filings
