Key Responsibilities
- Use provided hand tools (primarily box cutter or razor blade) to remove flash from rotational molded plastic products
- Transporting product/balls between work areas
- Ability to effectively work and communicate as part of a team
- Other job duties are:
- Trimming
- Assembling
- Packaging
- Boxing
- Labeling
- Duties may require use of small hand power tools
- Assemblers must be quick, organized, adaptable to change and always focused on safety & quality
- Controls scrap and waste to the best of his/her ability
- Works toward meeting company-established efficiency goals
- Inspecting quality of finished goods
- Maintaining a clutter free, clean work area
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be able to distinguish the difference in colors
- Must be able to perform simple math functions
- Ability to work both independently and within a team to carry out assignments to completion
- Familiarity with manufacturing environment and simple tools- some previous experience in a manufacturing environment required
- A self-starter who can multi-task
- Reliable transportation
- Daily duties may require lifting 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for 8-10 hour shift
