Jolly Roofing and Contracting Co., LLC. is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Commercial Roof Foreman to oversee roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing roofing crews and a deep understanding of multiple roofing systems, including single-ply, roof coating systems, built-up systems, EPDM, PVC, and more. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for ensuring job site safety, organizing and planning crew activities, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of roofers on commercial roofing projects.
- Ensure the team follows proper safety protocols and OSHA standards, particularly in fall protection.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and man lifts as needed on the job site.
- Plan and organize job site activities, coordinating materials and crew assignments.
- Perform quality checks and inspections on roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC, built-up, etc.).
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise on the job site and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain daily logs and documentation of project activities.
- Train and mentor crew members, ensuring safety compliance and proper roofing practices.
- Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and according to project specifications.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience running roofing crews.
- Knowledge of multiple roofing systems, including single-ply, roof coating systems, built-up systems, EPDM, PVC, etc.
- OSHA certification is recommended but not required.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (man lifts, forklifts, etc.).
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage crew activities and job site.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR requirements.
