DESCRIPTION
The Barista is responsible for creating a memorable customer experience by delivering fast, friendly service and consistent, high-quality products. This role involves performing all duties in accordance with company processes and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and connect with each customer.
- Welcome questions and provide education on our products.
- Suggestively sell add-on beverage features, gift cards, and merchandise.
- Take orders, enter sales, and process payments promptly and courteously.
- Manage cash drawer in accordance with established cash handling procedures.
- Prepare all customer orders following recipe and aesthetic guidelines.
- Deliver products within established speed of service guidelines and identify drinks upon delivery.
- Operate and maintain the cleanliness of all store equipment.
- Optimize workflow by restocking workstations, food, supplies, and merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness in coworker and customer areas.
- Demonstrate genuine appreciation for each customer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for people and customer service.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Commitment to mastering brand recipes and techniques.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Energetic, adaptable, and flexible work style.
- Quick learner with problem-solving abilities and multitasking skills.
- Previous Barista experience is a plus but not required - WE WILL INVEST IN TRAINING AMAZING PEOPLE!
