We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as Senior Vice President, Team Lead for Capital Improvement Projects. This role will be crucial in shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world-class services, advisory, and technology for our clients.What this job involves : As SVP, Team Lead for Capital Improvement Projects at JLL, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of strategic capital improvement initiatives for existing office buildings. Your leadership will empower teams to thrive, driving innovation, collaboration, and success while ensuring operational efficiency, tenant satisfaction, and long-term asset value.What your day-to-day will look like :

  • Lead and oversee the execution of strategic capital improvement projects, ensuring the highest levels of quality and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets based on approved CapEx plans.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, both within the local team and across the global organization, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Drive innovative ways of working, constantly seeking new approaches and technologies to enhance project management processes and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, working closely with clients, property management, and tenants to understand their objectives and deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Oversee design, permitting, procurement, and construction activities for capital projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, building codes, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Champion the career development of your team, providing mentorship, guidance, and growth opportunities to support their professional advancement.
  • Monitor project performance, quality standards, and adherence to contractual obligations, identifying and mitigating potential project risks.
  • Provide regular project updates, financial reports, and risk assessments to senior leadership.Required Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management).
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, directing and managing intricate projects within the commercial real estate industry.
  • Strong track record of delivering complex capital improvement projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to translate business goals into action plans and align capital projects with strategic objectives.
  • Outstanding client relationship management abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and trends in capital improvement and building infrastructure.Preferred Qualifications :
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Professional certifications (such as PMP, LEED, or relevant industry certifications).
  • Experience in a global or multi-office environment.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in project management and building systems.
  • Proven ability to drive business development and generate new opportunities.Key Deliverables :
  • Annual capital improvement project plan and budget
  • Detailed project schedules and milestone tracking
  • Vendor and contractor selection and management
  • Compliance documentation and regulatory approvals
  • Post-project performance evaluation and reportingSuccess Metrics :
