JPR is looking to add a Graduate Landscape Architect to work in either our Fort Wayne or South Bend office.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program and be on the path to professional licensure. This position could be filled by a recent graduate or by a candidate with 1-5 years of experience (more experienced candidates will be considered).
Requirements include:
- Ability to work in team environment while actively promoting collaborative and innovative culture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D desired), familiarity with Revit is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, graphics software preferred (Sketchup or Lumion)
- Ability to produce hand graphics is a plus
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Support project teams in all stages of the project, from planning and conceptual design to construction documents and site visits
- Provide support to landscape architectural staff
- Confers and collaborates with fellow landscape architecture staff, engineers, architects or other disciplines on wide variety of planning and design projects
- Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm-wide design excellence and problem solving
- Ideal candidate would demonstrate understanding of the relationship between design and constructability
- Participates in managing client relationships
- A strong focus on the quality of deliverables to allow for best possible outcomes for our clients
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines
