Fleet Operations Administrator Needed at Jones Power
Job Description
Jones Power is seeking a Fleet Operations Administrator to oversee the administrative functions of our vehicle fleet, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with regulations, and efficient fleet management.
- Vehicle Registration & Title Management:
- Process vehicle registrations and renewals.
- Maintain accurate vehicle registration records.
- Maintenance Scheduling & Tracking:
- Coordinate vehicle/equipment maintenance schedules with repair shops.
- Enter and track work orders for repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor maintenance costs and identify potential issues.
- Fuel Card Management:
- Track fuel expenses and troubleshoot fuel card issues.
- Monitor fuel efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Insurance Administration:
- Maintain vehicle insurance records and update policies as needed.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate fleet data in a dedicated management system.
- Generate reports on vehicle/equipment usage, maintenance costs, and other key metrics.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Process invoices related to vehicle/equipment repairs and maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with fleet management software.
- Knowledge of vehicle/equipment maintenance procedures and DOT regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information
- This position may report to the Fleet Manager, Operations Manager, or another leadership role depending on company structure.
- Prior experience in fleet management, logistics, or a similar field is preferred.
