Jones Strategy and Consulting Group (JSCG) is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Fundraising Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in securing the resources needed to fuel our mission and empower our clients to achieve their full potential.

What You'll Do:

  • Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
  • Develop and execute compelling fundraising campaigns, with a focus on exceeding goals.
  • Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective donors with an alignment to JSCG's mission.
  • Craft persuasive grant proposals and fundraising materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events (optional, depending on experience).
  • Track fundraising progress and report on key metrics.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising or a related field (non-profit experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with donors.
  • Proven ability to write persuasively and concisely.
  • Experience with donor relationship management (DRM) software a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A passion for JSCG's mission and a desire to make a difference.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with donors, sponsors, and team members
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple fundraising campaigns and events simultaneously
  • Experience in fundraising, including creating and implementing successful fundraising strategies
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and databases for donor management and tracking fundraising progress
  • Knowledge of marketing principles to promote fundraising events and initiatives
