Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere as they arrive. Your primary responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and providing exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience. A successful Host/Host will possess strong communication skills and a passion for guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
• Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering inquiries about the restaurant.
• Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage guest orders efficiently.
• Address guest concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of hotel or hospitality environments, is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in customer service.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests are essential for this role.
