As the Lead Host, you will play a key role in managing the flow of guests, ensuring seamless seating arrangements, and guiding the host team to deliver exceptional service. Your leadership and organizational skills will be essential in creating a positive and efficient front-of-house experience.

Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
Thorough knowledge of menu items and service procedures.
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment and to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements using OpenTable and other tools.
- Oversee the host team, providing clear direction and support throughout shifts.
- Train and mentor new hosts to ensure they follow service standards.
- Collect, organize, update, and manage menus.
- Stock the host stand with appropriate supplies.
- Seat guests at suitable tables or in waiting areas and remove extra place settings.
- Manage the waitlist during busy periods and communicate accurate seating times effectively.
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Communicate with management to address guest inquiries and resolve concerns in a calm and professional manner.
- Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards at the host stand and lobby area.
