Job Summary:

The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the entire practice, including the plastic surgery practice and the Medspa. This leadership role is crucial in managing staff, optimizing patient care, and ensuring the practice's overall success. The Practice Manager plays a key role in coordinating the clinical, administrative, and financial aspects of the business while fostering a positive, professional environment for both staff and patients.

Essential functions:

  • Ensure the highest level of patient care by overseeing all aspects of patient interactions from scheduling to post-treatment follow-up
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure the practice meets or exceeds revenue goals.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and protocols to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns to attract new clients.
  • Track and analyze marketing efforts, patient retention, and cross conversion to develop effective business strategies.
  • Ensure the practice complies with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including medical and cosmetic procedures.
  • Oversee proper documentation for all procedures, including informed consent forms.
  • Stay up to date on industry regulations, changes in laws, and health care guidelines.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns, ensuring they are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Track inventory of supplies and retail products, including managing purchasing.
  • Organize and conduct ongoing training for staff, keeping them informed of new treatments, technologies, and protocols.
  • Help plan and execute events and promotions.
  • Oversee scheduling and patient management software to ensure efficiency and smooth operations.
  • Stay updated on technology relevant to the practice, including any software updates, equipment upgrades, or new medical aesthetics devices.

Competencies: Required Skills/Abilities:

· Knowledge of medical aesthetics, plastic surgery procedures, and patient care is beneficial.

· Financial management, budgeting, and reporting capabilities.

· Customer service orientation, with the ability to handle challenging situations.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

· Proficient with Google Suite, Symplast EMR

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.

· Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • The ability to climb stairs or ramps
  • The ability to touch, pinch, or pick with fingers, or to grasp, hold, or turn large objects
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds
  • The ability to see near, far, or peripherally
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times

Travel required: Occasionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
