What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineering Manager - up to $110,000 base position at Joseph Executive Search Ltd?
Our client is a large and successful manufacturer of pharmaceutical and consumer products and this Engineering Manager role will report to the Director Engineering. The role manages all activities relating to Engineering services for capital projects, improving production systems and the preparation of new production lines.
The role:
- Manage and develop capital projects of varying size ensuring compliance with relevant agencies & regulations, such as FDA, cGMP, EPA, etc
- Improve the quality & performance of existing production systems
- Design, procurement, installation and start-up of production equipment to support product transfers
- Manage hourly paid Associates maintaining a high morale, engaged workforce
The candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related subject
- Over 5 years’ experience in project design & management in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Customer focussed and able to react to multiple changing priorities
- GMP experience preferred
The base salary for the role is in the $90,000 to $110,000 range plus benefits including health/vision/dental, 401k match, life insurance & PTO.
