We are looking for an Human Resources Assistant to join our team! This is a great, entry-level, opportunity for an individual who is looking for an opportunity to grow in the Human Resources and Business Administration. This person will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations. The right incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Working hours
- To start: 32 hours per week, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Thursday
- Position may be eligible 40 hours per week after 90 day probationary period
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Recruiting
- Screening incoming applications received
- Conduct pre-screening interviews
- Scheduling interviews by contacting applicants
- Collaborate with team on recruiting ideas
- Post recruitment needs on various social media sites and job boards
Training
- Assign, communicate, and follow up on all training for HR, IT, and Safety
- Maintain tracking and reporting records
Administrative
- Assistant to VP of Human Resources, Safety Director and other executives as needed.
- Administrative duties and projects as assigned HR Manager
- HR File Maintenance
- Maintain Safety documents and procedures
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- HS diploma required, or 2 year administrative or marketing technical/associates degree preferred
- 1-2 years of prior high-volume staffing or administrative experience
- Experience in staffing tools and applicant tracking systems, preferred but not required
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficient in navigating or marketing social media
- Extensive multi-tasking ability and expert attention to detail and efficiency
- Demonstrated use of interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive, productive work relationships
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Sense of urgency, ability to resolve issues or respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Willingness to learn human resources functions as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
