We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive individual for the full-time Insect Packing Technician position in our Insect Department, located in Owosso, MI. As a valued member of the Insect Department, you will assist with basic insect husbandry and the packing of insects for sale through Josh’s Frogs website and distribution partners.
Your primary responsibilities will include insect husbandry, feeding, watering, packing, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

$15.25/hour Starting Wages

Day-to-day tasks include:

Performing insect husbandry tasks, including watering, feeding, cleaning bins, and supporting colonies of springtails, isopods, and millipedes.

Ensuring insects are properly packed to maintain stock levels of insect products.

Providing support for the expansion of springtail, isopod, and millipede projects.

Packing insects in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while meeting both quality and time requirements.
