We are currently seeking a hardworking and meticulous individual for the full-time Insect Packing Technician position in our Insect Department. As an Insect Department member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products are picked, packed, and delivered accurately and on time, contributing to our commitment to excellent customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include packing quality insects into shipping-friendly containers for stock and orders and receiving and rotating stock. - (2) Full-Time 40 hours per week
- Training Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (first two to three weeks)
- Regular Schedule 1st position: Sunday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Regular Schedule 2nd position: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- $15.25/hour Starting Wage

Day-to-day tasks include:

Packaging quality insects into shipping-friendly containers for stock and orders

Receiving and Rotating cricket deliveries

Making fresh fruit flies for stock
For this position, you MUST possess:

Good communication skills

Good problem-solving skills

Full dexterity in arms and hands

Must be able to pass the Respirator Fit Test and training, and must be shaved where the skin and mask meet to achieve a skin-to-mask seal

Must be able to efficiently and consistently perform repetitive tasks

Ability to lift 30 lbs

Ability to walk long distances

Basic technology skills (can use Google Docs and navigate through apps)
Special consideration is given to those with:
