Responsibilities
- Assess trees for removal based on health, location, and safety considerations.
- Operate various equipment including rigs and bucket trucks to safely remove trees.
- Perform tree trimming and pruning as necessary to maintain landscape aesthetics.
- Ensure proper disposal of tree debris following removal.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including lawn care and garden upkeep.
- Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency in tree care techniques, including tree trimming and removal.
- Experience with rigging techniques for safe tree removal operations.
- Familiarity with bucket operation for accessing elevated areas safely.
- Knowledge of GIS for mapping and planning tree removal projects is a plus.
- Strong background in landscape maintenance, including gardening and lawn care practices.
