Qualifications: A Christian with strong convictions who is also in agreement with Josiah White’s mission statement, Statement of Faith, and Code of Conduct. Must be 21 years of age. Bachelors or higher degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field preferred, or with several years of marketing experience. Experience in various social media platforms required. Experience/knowledge in using Canva and/or other graphic design software. Strong demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Direct experience in writing and editing content for printed publications and on-line systems is preferred. Digital experience in WordPress, email marketing systems, and customer relationship software is also highly desired. Must have demonstrated strong verbal and written skills.

Basic Responsibilities:
- Content writer and editor for various newsletters using Constant Contact
- Acts as an internal journalist that gathers and writes stories for us to promote our programs to internal and external audiences for media
- Supports the maintenance and updates of content on our organizational website
- Creates content for digital and printed material for the organization
- Film and edit short videos for social media use
- Create posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and, at times, Instagram for Josiah White’s social media pages, and 50 East Café social media pages
- Assists with event coordination and planning
- Ensures consistent messaging in support of Josiah White’s vision, mission and values; understands brand standards/consistency; uses journalistic tenets of Associated Press style/grammar
- Manages scheduling of communications, proofing of materials and quality assurance
- Works with internal clients to plan and develop/ compose compelling communications related to general marketing, development initiatives, events, and general internal and external written or online publications
- Participates in weekly content meetings and bi-weekly department team meetings
- Develops project plans that include definition of actions to be taken, sequence of events, and timelines
- Serves as the primary role in developing the organization’s presence on various social media vehicles; planning and scheduling monthly content
- Interacts with all agency social media audiences to build the brand and encourage page engagement
- Analyzes social media metrics and trends and creates monthly reports for VP of Advancement
- Designs and prepares graphics for all social media content
- Manage content of internal LCD displays
- Assist with photography
- All other duties as assigned by the VP of Advancement

- Must work well under the pressure of deadlines and stressful situations
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to setup and tear down equipment for events
- Must be able to go up and down stairs
- Expected 40 hours per week in the office
- Additional time may be necessary to complete responsibilities, including weekends and evenings on occasion
Salary : $22 - $26
