Background
- Works under direction of the Quality Inspector Supervisor in a c-GMP regulated manufacturing environment operating under Q7A standards.
Tasks
- Uphold all standards of quality assurance compliance.
- Ensure GMP checklist and all other procedures are actively being followed.
- Support good manufacturing practices and good documentation practices in the plant.
- Educate employees and document instances based on GMP observations.
- Be point-of-contact for GMP questions and improvements from employees.
- Maintain a thorough audit log of GMP improvement opportunities.
- Follow through with corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) on GMP program compliance.
- Act as liaison and educator to quality compliance and continuous improvement.
- Perform all requested quality tests for equipment and room approval.
- Other duties as assigned.
Specifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of:
- Theories, principles, and methods of quality assurance program
- GMP from a pharmaceutical and/or food safety perspective
- Good Documentation Practices
- Good Manufacturing Practices
- Good understanding of scientific methods and technical/mechanical processes
- FDA ICH-Q7 and 21 CFR 117 environment
Skill in:
- Strong communication and collaborative skills

Ability to:
- Work in extreme cold and hot (120 F) environment

- Lifting: Graduated lift to 55 pounds in box 4” to 57”
- Lifting: Stack 40, 55 lbs. bags within 10 minutes
- Push at least 102 lbs. from any height.
- Pull an average of 100 lbs. at 36”
- Ascends/Descends vertical ladder 15 rungs (8 rungs 2 times)
- Lifting: 30 lbs. to workers overhead extension for 1 repetition
- Simulation of scraping movement: 20 lbs. CW/CCW for 2 minutes @ 18 ht.
- Simulation of opening/closing a valve with cross bar at 60 ht.
- Maneuver: 185 lbs. floor to 4” one time
