GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Proactively communicates by phone with key contacts within schools to build relationships & promote & sell our complete line of Neff recognition awards & apparel products. Primary contacts within the schools will include athletic directors, coaches, principals, band & choral directors, booster groups, and advisors of other school organizations who look to recognize student achievement and participation. Provides help and assists in all the activities related to the department.
Responsibilities:
- Making outbound phone calls and communicating with active/inactive/prospective customers to sell products and advise customers of promotions and new products. Utilize selling strategies to grow existing customers and gain new or lost customers. A target account list will be provided.
- Provide Quotes and submit orders.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and respond to any issues.
- Answer inbound calls from customers the agent has left messages for or calls that come in from marketing campaigns.
- Refer jacket, regalia, and yearbook business opportunities to the Jostens rep of record on the account called.
- Utilize the CRM tools provided to maintain accurate and up to date records
Required:
- Call center outbound/inbound call experience.
- English as a strong second language
- Oral Communication – Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listen and ask appropriate questions for needed clarification.
- Written Communication – writes clearly and informatively; able to edit work for spelling and grammar errors.
- Attendance/Punctuality – is to work on time.
