Responsibilities
- Talent Management & Workforce Planning
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent for all plant positions.
- Partner with department managers to forecast staffing needs and succession planning.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive work environment by proactively addressing employee concerns.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters.
- Promote and drive initiatives that enhance employee morale, engagement, and retention.
- Manage conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Compliance & HR Policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, and EEOC regulations.
- Maintain and enforce company HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Training & Development
- Implement training programs that support employee growth and compliance requirements.
- Work with supervisors to develop leadership and skills development programs.
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting and coaching.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Support payroll processes and benefits administration in partnership with corporate HR.
- Conduct job evaluations and ensure competitive wage structures.
- Assist employees with benefits questions and open enrollment processes.
- HR Data & Reporting
- Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.
- Provide reports and insights to plant leadership to drive strategic HR decisions.
- Manage HRIS and personnel records in compliance with legal standards.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience with HRIS (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
