Roles and Responsibilities The Junior Tax Associate role will include serving the firm’s clients and supporting the work of the Senior Tax Associates and Director. Examples of responsibilities are listed below, separated between client service and firm elements: Client Service Prepare and review personal and business tax returns Assess and research tax issues to assist the Senior Tax Associates and Director with complex returns or compliance requirements Staying current on recent tax developments within the US Manage chargeable hours and realization Firm Specific Participate in regular communication with existing clients Assist the Senior Tax Associates and Director with creating standardized tax workpapers and processes for the firm Participate in tax trainings and courses to increase tax technical skills Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and seek opportunities for professional growth Begin building a professional network Expectations It is the firm’s intent to provide relevant opportunities that contribute to the professional and personal advancement of the team member and to provide an experience that invests in their skills and strengthens their talents.
