Job Title: Journey Students Production Coordinator
Overview: The Production Coordinator needs to have a heart to serve students and the local church. This person must be skilled in and eager to grow in abilities in live stage production. This person must be organized, and detail-oriented. Team building and ongoing development must be a priority. This person enjoys creating high quality environments for student services and other events. This person needs to be a gifted problem-solver who considers obstacles as challenges to be conquered. This person must have a heart for worshiping God, be an excellent technician, have positive and encouraging attitude, and seek to build healthy relationships.
Job Classification: Contractor (1099) approx. 12 hours per week
Reports to: Student Pastor
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- AUDIO (stage band prep)
- LIGHTING (including pre-programming lighting cues)
- GRAPHICS (including message notes, game, announcements, lyrics, etc.)
- Scheduling the production team
- Lead student tech teams during setup, rehearsals, and worship gatherings
- Have a detailed understanding of all production systems in student venues
- Assist worship leader in technical and musical needs
- Regularly encourage volunteers
- Responsible for training new volunteers
- Responsible for coordinating the programming of media and production needs for all student services and other events as needed and able

Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Proficient in stage production hardware and software. i.e., ProPresenter, Digital Audio Consoles, Digital Lighting Consoles/Software
- Basic understanding of full band instruments, cabling and signal flow, PA speakers and wireless systems
- Organized, flexible, ability to multi-task
- Exemplary oral & written skills
