Job Title: Receptionist/Admin Assistant
Job Description: The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant needs to be a confident, highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can focus on efforts on greeting guests to the administrative office, answering/handling phone calls, data entry into Journey’s database, and basic administrative responsibilities. This position will require flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
Job Classification: Part-time hourly (non-exempt) (up to 23 hours/week – Monday-Thursday)
Reports to: HR / Payroll Coordinator
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
· Greet guests to the administrative office
· Maintain appearance of the administrative office lobby
· Handle/manage all phone calls
· Data entry/data updates to Journey’s database
· Assist with maintaining office equipment
· Manage and organize appointments and meetings
· Prepare and distribute correspondence
· Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
· Monitor and maintain office and breakroom supplies inventory
· Assist staff members as needed

· Commitment to continued personal spiritual growth and formation
· Model the standards and expectations of leaders within Journey Christian Church
· Must attend Journey Christian Church
Experience:
· High school diploma is required
· Skills in Microsoft Office programs
· High level of comfort with technology
· Organized; flexible; ability to multi-task
· Exemplary oral and written skills
