What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator position at Journey Church?
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Production Coordinator position at Journey Church is to oversee the coordination of all aspects of productions at the assigned campus. Our Production team is passionate about using their gifts to serve behind the scenes to deliver excellent, distraction-free environments that create space for people to connect with and experience God through Audio, Video, and Lighting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production for assigned campus, including but not limited to scheduling teams, programming, execution, troubleshooting, and development of dream team members.
- Oversee production for Journey YTH gatherings and special events, including but not limited to scheduling teams, programming, execution, and development of student dream team members.
- Assist in management and/or operation of all distributed systems at Journey Church campuses, including YTH and kids’ environments.
- Assist with equipment installation and maintenance as needed.
- Assist Production Director with projects and tasks as needed.
- Assist other Journey Church teams with campus-specific projects and tasks as needed.
- Assist with production equipment set up and operation for Journey services and events at any campus as needed
- Oversee the organization, scheduling, and execution of Production Development gatherings (Cultivate).
- Embody principles of healthy team culture so that an atmosphere of community, appreciation, and enjoyment is present throughout Production Dream Team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Sunday Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities remain the same throughout the week
Qualifications / Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of Production experience (Audio/Video/Lighting)
- Proficient with MA, Allen and Heath, QSYS/Cue Server, ROSS Video consoles/surfaces
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
