Job Responsibilities: As a Direct Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with activities of daily living, organizing activities and community outings, documenting program data, helping with decision-making processes, and communicating professionally with Nurses, Clinical Staff, Directors, and Supervisors. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in person-centered planning and thinking, as well as contribute to creating a supportive environment for our clients.
Requirements: While experience is preferred, it is not necessary. We train exceptional people to provide exceptional care. Behavioral management experience and/or formal training are essential. Additionally, you must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing, as well as possess a strong understanding of person-centered planning and thinking.
