Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time Secretary to join our Rigby Children’s Center team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client and staff shift schedules efficiently
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally, respond to inquiries, and relay messages accurately
- Greet families, clients, and visitors while providing a welcoming environment
- Collect updated documents from staff for administration and ensure records are properly maintained
- Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed
- Support administration with additional tasks and projects as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a criminal history background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance
- Prior secretarial or administrative experience
Preferred Skills:
- Strong organization and prioritization abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, and office equipment
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve proactively
- Comfortable working in an environment supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
