What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Newborn Nanny - Peoria (61614) position at Jovie Cooee Group LTD?
Compensation: $17-$20 an hour
A Bit About Us
We are a couple who recently welcomed our baby girl in February and living in a single-family home with our pitbull. One of us works as an Emergency Medicine physician, and the other is a medical student in the final year of a long program, completing clinical rotations. We both work primarily at a local hospital, with one working full-time, including varying shifts (evenings, nights, and weekends), and the other on a rotating schedule that changes every 2-4 weeks.
A Bit About You
You are self-directed, confident, and capable! You have good BIG ENERGY and are comfortable with changes and flexibility. You are proactive with ideas for an infant’s development and able to direct her day-to-day. You are a kind and positive influence; you’re the type of nanny who will teach a child to be considerate and to have good manners. You would love to work with the same family for many years. You have great organizational skills and excellent communication.
Job Duties
All newborn care, nanny to put their full effort into making sure baby is safe, fed, clean, and participating in age-appropriate activities (napping, tummy time, reading, playing, etc). If there is time, the family would love if the caregiver can let the dog out to the backyard a few times per day, or help with baby-related cleaning (washing bottles, folding baby laundry). But the #1 priority is caring for the baby.
Position Highlights
Set yourself apart: You have a degree in Child Development and/or have great ideas for stimulating activities that aid in reaching appropriate developmental milestones.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-3p) *Flexible to start at earlier if needed.
Starts May 2025!! Willing to start earlier to acclimate to schedule and get to know dog.
