A bit about us :
We are a couple who recently welcomed our baby girl in February and living in a single-family home with our pitbull. One of us works as an Emergency Medicine physician, and the other is a medical student in the final year of a long program, completing clinical rotations. We both work primarily at a local hospital, with one working full-time, including varying shifts (evenings, nights, and weekends), and the other on a rotating schedule that changes every 2-4 weeks.

You are self-directed, confident, and capable! You have good BIG ENERGY and are comfortable with changes and flexibility. You are proactive with ideas for an infant’s development and able to direct her day-to-day. You are a kind and positive influence; you’re the type of nanny who will teach a child to be considerate and to have good manners. You would love to work with the same family for many years. You have great organizational skills and excellent communication.
Job Duties :
All newborn care, nanny to put their full effort into making sure baby is safe, fed, clean, and participating in age-appropriate activities (napping, tummy time, reading, playing, etc). If there is time, the family would love if the caregiver can let the dog out to the backyard a few times per day, or help with baby-related cleaning (washing bottles, folding baby laundry). But the #1 priority is caring for the baby.

Qualifications : Responsible, focused, experienced with newborn care (5 years experience with newborn, infant care and child development knowledge). Punctuality and communication are also important. Comfortable with dogs and some pet care duties. Flexible : the family will be as upfront as possible with their schedules, but there will need to be flexibility in hours and needs week-to-week. A clean driving record, a reliable vehicle, a valid Driver’s License, willing to take driving and drug screens if requested. Absolutely no smoking; caregiver must be up-to-date on annual and seasonal vaccines. CPR certified and able to commit to the schedule for the long-term future.
Set yourself apart : You have a degree in Child Development and / or have great ideas for stimulating activities that aid in reaching appropriate developmental milestones.
Schedule : Monday-Friday (7a-3p)
Starts May 2025!! Willing to start earlier to acclimate to schedule and get to know dog.
Salary : $17 - $20
