What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Nanny in Northridge, CA for a 9-month-old position at Jovie?

We are a charismatic and considerate family of 5, including Grandma and our sweet Maltipoo. We love to laugh! We like traveling and going to dinner; Palm Springs is one of our favorite places to go as a family. We are looking for an equal partner in our child’s life and in our lives. We would like someone experienced who can give us advice. We are straight shooters and are respectful in our communication. My husband works outside the home, and I work outside the home 3 days a week. I have a visual impairment, which is why it will be important that our nanny can drive our child and me sometimes.

You are self-directed, confident, and capable! You have good BIG ENERGY and are comfortable with bold personalities. You are proactive with ideas for an infant’s development and able to direct her day-to-day. You are a kind and positive influence; you’re the type of nanny who will teach a child to be considerate and to have good manners. You would love to work with the same family for many years. You would be comfortable transitioning from a Full-time Infant Nanny to a Full-time Household Manager/After-school Nanny. You have great organizational skills and excellent communication.
Job Duties:
All infant childcare (and toddler, school-age care in the future) such as feeding, diaper changes, soothing, putting down for naps, age-appropriate play that is fun and educational, reading, ensuring safety, communicating with parents, assisting parents with child’s calendar in the future, driving child to activities and eventually to/from school, driving mom to appointments and errands when needed, and being available to travel for family vacations with advance notice. Household tasks include baby laundry, cooking for the family, keeping the kitchen clean, light tidying of baby play and sleep areas, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and some pet care such as feeding the dog and some dog walking. Errands may include grocery shopping for the baby, transporting mom and baby to run errands/shopping, and eventually transportation to/from school and extracurricular activities.
