Summary

We are seeking a passionate Counselor to join our team at Joy Deco Enterprises. Located in South Palm Beach county, this role is essential in guiding and instructing children during our various camp activity day. Your contributions will help create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes learning and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging camp day for children aged 5-11.
• Create a positive and supportive environment that encourages creativity.
• Follow lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
• Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace for classes.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting.
• Strong background in early childhood education or related fields.
• Ability to educate and inspire young learners through creative activities.
• First aid certification is preferred but not required.Cpr will be needed.We will all go for training before camp start date.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Reliable transportation.
• A clean, neat professional appearance is essential.

*We will meet for paid trainng before camp starts.

* We are hiring for Spring Break March 24-31st 8:15 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.

* Summer June 2 through Augst 8th. Times are 8:15 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. and/or

aftercare half day camp 12:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Fall work will also be offered if interested and available instructing our afterschool classes 2:00-3:10 daily in Theater/Dance & Cheerleading & Tumbling.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 48 per week
