Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their developmental needs are met while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility, including classrooms and play areas.
- Assist in the development of individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
- Provide nurturing care for toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and comfort as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in preschool, daycare, or childcare settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
- Experience in nannying or babysitting is a plus.
- Familiarity with working with children with disabilities is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential traits for success in this role.
- A relevant degree or certification in Early Childhood Education is an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: From $10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
Schedule:
