Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth.
- Monitor children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior among children.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children effectively.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
