Pest Control Technician Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Pest Control Technician with JP McHale Pest Management LLC, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and solving existing pest problems. You will spend your day helping people in your community by building long-term relationships and protecting their homes and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a motor vehicle safely
- Enter/exit structures and crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs and ladders
- Use required personal protective equipment
- Visually inspect for pests, pest entries, etc.
- Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
- Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Follow OSHA/FIFRA policies and procedures when carrying out pest control services
- Operate company vehicle safely and maintain vehicle to comply with DOT and company guidelines
- Complete services as scheduled and provide appropriate documentation of services performed
- Act quickly and effectively to address actual or potential problems
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting & carrying up to 40 lbs.
Requirements:
- 3 years of driving experience to drive a company vehicle
